Made for : Penguin Random House Year : 2020 Concept : Book Cover Design This project was created for Penguin Random House. The goal of this project was to make visual elements that create mood and expectations. The basis of this design is double exposure technique that creates a visual connection between all books.Soft colours and realistic images provides contrast and highlight key elements, such as hero for each book. Complementary colours have a contrast, allowing elements to stand out, providing an individual and soothing atmosphere. The original orange colour exists not just on the book spine, the shades of this colour placed in each image to create somehow a connection between the six series of book. The whole design contributes to a sense of adventure and allows the audience to interact with the character.
